EVENT FACILITIES AND AGRI-TOURISM USES PUBLIC LISTENING SESSION
JOINT PLAN COMMISSION – VILLAGE BOARD PARTICIPATION
SUMMIT VILLAGE HALL
37100 Delafield Road • Summit, WI 53066
MAY 29, 2025 @ 6:00 PM
The Village of Summit is in the process of updating the Village’s Zoning & Shoreland Protection Ordinance. As part of the zoning ordinance update, the Village is considering whether event facilities and agri-tourism uses should be incorporated as available uses in certain districts.
Public participation is an important part of the Village’s planning process. We are interested in your ideas, thoughts, and opinions related to event facilities and agri-tourism uses. The Village would like to know where you think these uses should be allowed in the Village, how you think these types of uses could benefit the community, your concerns, and whether your concerns could be addressed through conditions. This is your opportunity to help guide the community’s future. The meeting will consist of listening to public comments only. There will be no discussion or action by the Plan Commission or Village Board following public comment. Discussion and potential action will follow at future meetings that have not yet been scheduled.
We look forward to your participation. Verbal comments at the meeting will be limited to two minutes per person. If you cannot address your comments within two minutes or you cannot attend the meeting, you can submit written comments at https://summitvillage.org/contact-us/, prior to June 9, 2025, for consideration by the Zoning Code Land Use Project Sub-Committee prior to the Village setting up a Public Hearing date and formal action.
