Cemetery Fees

A fee schedule has been linked below for your convenience.  Please contact the Sexton to verify accurate fees for purchases and openings.

CEMETERY RULES & REGULATIONS

Cemetery rules and regulations have been created to protect the cemetery and all owners of burial rights in the Cemetery.  They are intended not as restraining, but rather as preventing the inconsiderate from taking unfair advantage of others.  Their enforcement will help protect and preserve the beauty of the Cemetery.

MARKERS & MONUMENTS

Markers or monuments are required to be placed on a gravesite within one year of burial, except by special exception by the Sexton.  Gravesite owners are encouraged to contact the Sexton prior to ordering or setting of any marker or monument.

A Monument Permit Application must be approved by the Sexton prior to any marker or monument work.  All private contractors performing marker and monument work within the cemetery must be pre-approved by the Village.

Please refer to the Cemetery Rules & Regulations for more information on requirements for markers and monuments.

PET OSSUARY

NEW!  The Summit Cemetery is pleased to offer a final resting space for pet cremains.  The Hill Crest Pet Ossuary was completed in 2025 and is located in the northeast section of the Cemetery, just west of the main entrance roadway.  A decorative brick will be engraved and placed in the walkway adjacent to the ossuary to memorialize your pet.

Please refer to the Cemetery Fee Schedule for more information on costs associated with the pet ossuary.
