NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURES ON CTH DR/DELAFIELD RD AND N VENICE BEACH RD

Recent rainfall events have led to rising levels in the Bark River and the Upper and Lower Nemahbin Lakes in the Village of Summit, resulting in high water levels in the area. N Venice Beach Road and a section of CTH DR/Delafield Rd have been closed due to high water levels over the roadway. The roads will remain closed until water levels have receded enough to allow for safe passage by vehicles.

The following road closures are currently in effect:

  • CTH DR (Delafield Rd) – Approx. 150 feet west of N Venice Beach Rd to approx. 150 feet east of N Venice Beach Rd
  • N Venice Beach Rd – CTH DR/Delafield Rd to CTH DR/Delafield Rd

Local traffic on N Venice Beach Rd will be allowed for property owners who reside on the road. Property owners are asked to enter N Venice Beach Rd from the east intersection with CTH DR/Delafield Rd and to exercise caution when driving through deep water. Debris and other objects may not be visible in the water.

Alternate routes for CTH DR/Delafield Rd that may be used include:

  • Eastbound Traffic: CTH P/N Sawyer Rd (south) to Breens Rd (east) to N Waterville Rd (north)
  • Westbound Traffic:  N Waterville Rd (south) to Breens Rd (west) to CTH P/N Sawyer Rd (north)

Current road closures may be viewed by visiting Map Waukesha County at https://waukeshacounty.maps.arcgis.com/home/index.html and clicking on “Road Closure Public Information.”

We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause. The roads will be reopened as soon as water levels have receded enough to allow for traffic.
