NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD

PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACT

VILLAGE OF SUMMIT

WAUKEHSA COUNTY, WISCONSIN

The Village of Summit has solicited cost proposals without advertising for bids from selected contractors with the intent to award a contract to one contractor for the cleaning of stormwater catch basins at a total cost not to exceed $7,000.  This notice is given pursuant to Section 62.15(1) Wisconsin Statutes, which provides that if the estimated cost of any public construction exceeds $5,000 but is not greater than $25,000, a Class I notice of the proposed construction shall be published before the contract for the construction is executed. The contract will not be executed until one week following publication of this notice.
