HAZARDOUS ROAD CONDITIONS & BLIZZARD WARNING EFFECTIVE MARCH 16, 2026

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for Monday, March 16, 2026 until 4:00 p.m. Periods of moderate to high snowfall will occur through the afternoon, and hazardous travel conditions due to snow, the incoming cold, and high winds are expected.  High winds are expected to cause blizzard-like conditions throughout the day, and visibility will be severely limited at times.

It is strongly recommended that you stay off the roads throughout this event!  If you must travel, please do so with caution.  Leave early, give vehicles around you plenty of space, and drive slowly.

The Village DPW crew will be clearing snow from the roads throughout the snowfall event.  Please give them plenty of space.  The crew will be pushing a significant amount of heavy snow, which will result in slower response times and higher than normal amounts of snow in driveway aprons.  Cul-du-sacs are particularly difficult to clear efficiently with heavy snowfall.  We kindly as for your patience and understanding for the duration of this event as we work to clear the roadways.

Questions regarding the snow and ice control operations be directed to Kamron Nash, Public Works Director, at (262) 567-2757 or [email protected]
